The Santa Trinita Church in Florence

The Church was built in the second half of the 11th century by monks vallombrosiani and enlarged in the 14th century and transformed in Gothic style. The Interior, with three naves and the choir with side chapels decorated with frescoes was raised, largely disappeared during the period of the Counter-Reformation. As a result of the damage caused by the flood of 1966, all chapels were restored and its frescoes. The Church of the Holy Trinity is really rich of interesting works to be seen, most preserved in several chapels are inside. In the vault of the nave on the right there is a sky painted by Francis, Notes author inter alia of the eight busts of the Apostles in the building.
